Water Mitigation
A water damage can happen at any time. In this case water entered a conduit tube that was not built to sustain water inside. As a result, the excessive amount that was built up ruptured the pipe. Thus, creating the water damage you see in the left picture. In order to begin the water mitigation, our technicians must first extract the water. The picture on the right describes the water mitigation process after the main extraction of the water. The next step is to place air movers (smaller snail looking machine) to dry the walls, and dehumidifiers to continue extracting the remaining moisture from the affected area. Our equipment is monitored regularly, to ensure that the machines are working properly. In this particular case the walls don’t have to be cut, due to them being made out of concrete. However, the ceiling tiles will have to be replaced once there are no more signs of moisture in the affected areas.
